Educates vs Obesity

To the educated ones in the family (yes, you!)

You’ve cracked exams, earned degrees, mastered tech, maybe even figured out how to invest in mutual funds… but when it comes to your own health — what happened?! 😅

Let’s be real. Even with all this education, we’re still reaching out for that extra spoon of sugar in chai, frying everything in oceans of oil, and treating exercise like it’s some optional subject we dropped in college.

And yes, I get it — our education system never taught us the most important subject of all: FOOD.
No one ever taught us how to read a food label — how to spot the hidden sugars, the sneaky salts, or the overload of oils and fats. No one explained what those complicated, chemical-sounding ingredients really mean. And definitely, no one showed us how to tell the difference between what’s nourishing our body… and what’s quietly harming it.

But guess what? Now we do have access to this information — and as educated people, it’s our responsibility to use it. Because being literate should mean being health-literate too.

Here’s the harsh truth: India is sprinting toward becoming the most obese country in the world. That’s not a race we want to win.

And this isn't just about India — it’s about your family.
If you're not healthy, how can you take care of your parents, your kids, your partner? Your health is the foundation of your family’s happiness. When you’re healthy, you bring energy, joy, and stability to everyone around you. That’s the real wealth.

So come on — don’t let obesity sneak in like that distant relative who never leaves. 😬
Start reading labels. Cut down on the junk. Move your body — even if it’s just dancing to your favorite 90s Bollywood song.

Because OBESITY is a silent killer, but awareness can be the loud, loving wake-up call we all need.

Let’s get smarter — not just in our heads, but in our kitchens and our hearts too. ❤️
